Fees and Costs

NLM does not charge for participation in or use of DOCLINE.

NRC-CISTI, DOCLINE coordinator in Canada, charges a one-time registration fee and an annual administration fee to each Canadian library participating in DOCLINE. These fees help to cover part of the costs incurred by NRC-CISTI in its DOCLINE coordinator activities.

They are not part of the document delivery services, managed by NRC-CISTI's partner, Infotrieve Canada Inc. The one-time registration fee is $150 and the annual administration fee, billed in November, is $100.
